Currently obsessed with: I am currently obsessed with planning where I am going to travel next, as well as shoes, purses, and saving for a road bike.

When did you know you wanted to do hair? I have loved hair ever since I was a little girl, but I knew I wanted to do hair in high school when a friend asked me to fix his bad haircut and I’ve been doing it ever since!

How long have you been doing color? I have been doing color for three years.

How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? I love very natural looking hair color. So when I am coloring I think about what looks best with the person, their skin tone, their style, and even their personality. I also strive for longevity of their color by using certain techniques and a great color line.

What inspires your creativity? My creativity is definitely inspired by art! For example, sculptures, paintings, fashion, and traveling are all different forms of art that inspire me in many different ways.

What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? For someone who is coloring their hair for the first time I would advise them to remember that it will be maintenance and that they will need to invest in some professional products to keep their color lasting longer and their hair healthier.

How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? I customize a hair service for a client by looking at what they are requesting their color to look like, if they are high or low maintenance, and also their style and personality.

What celebrity always has great hair and why? I feel that Heidi Klum always has great hair. I love how she is not afraid to wear her hair different ways and it always looks beautiful!

What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? My approach to retaining hair color clients is by using a great color line along with color techniques that produce a long lasting color. I also like to create the color the client likes without being afraid to take risks and be creative.

Describe your personal style: My personal style is modern and bohemian with an awareness and appreciation of classic style.

How does your personal style influence your work? My personal style influences my work because I tend to create natural looking hair colors with an up to date twist and an easy style!
