When did you know you wanted to do hair? When all of my Barbie’s got a cut and color when they came out of the box

How long have you been doing color? 7 years.

How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? I just sit back and listen. When you REALLY hear someone’s likes and dislikes, it’s easy to make them feel beautiful.

What inspires your creativity? Redken artists and educators!

What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? Make sure I am the only one doing it! Cross-contamination can and does exist when it comes to colorists.

How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? I think it’s important to look at each individual’s skin, eye color, and wardrobe. By doing this and then formulating a look that’s custom to them, you will never have clients that look the same.

What celebrity always has great hair & why? Vanessa Marcell. I find her look very soft, flowy, gorgeous layers and beautiful color!

What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? Being honest, keeping their look fresh and new!
