Places you want to live: I would love to live in New York or Chicago and experience the big city life, but I would not mind living anywhere tropical either.

When did you know you wanted to do hair? I knew I wanted to do hair when all of my Barbies ended up with awesome haircuts.

How long have you been doing color? I have been doing color for over two years.

How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? My approach to doing hair color is to listen to my guests needs and requests and make sure I understand what they want. I will often use pictures as references to make sure the client can visualize the finished color.

What inspires your creativity? My creativity is inspired by each individual to create a custom look based on their style and what would make them look their best.

What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? For someone who is considering coloring their hair for the first time I would ask them how often they would want to color their hair. The closer the color is to their natural hair the less maintenance it will be, but if the color is a dramatic change then more upkeep will be required.

How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? I customize a hair color service with each client by starting with a thorough consultation. During this time I ask clients a variety of questions, such as what do they like about their current color, or what would they like to change. I also look at the skin tone and personal style of each individual guest.

What celebrity always has great hair and why? I think that all of the Victoria’s Secret Models always have great hair because their color looks rich and their hair is always full of body!

What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? My approach to retaining hair color clients is most importantly to listen to the guest and to do what they ask.

Describe your personal style: My personal style is drawn towards feminine clothing, such as ruffles, lace, and classic jewelry pieces. I get a lot of styling ideas and inspiration from magazines because I love staying updated on the latest fashion trends!

How does your personal style influence your work? I like to create wearable looks that work for each individual’s lifestyle. I incorporate my own personal style by keeping my guests hairstyles up to date.
