When did you know you wanted to do hair? I have always had a love for hair and fashion, so I took a job in a salon as a receptionist. Watching stylists transform people and “make their day” really inspired me and I knew I wanted to be a part of it.
How long have you been doing color? I have been doing color for ten years.
How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? The world of hair color and texture is amazing. It can go from a very natural look to pure fantasy and my approach changes with each desired result.
What inspires your creativity? My creativity is inspired by hair and fashion shows and learning new techniques, they are always changing and I love that! Traveling and season changes in nature also influence me.
What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? To someone coloring their hair for the first time I would advise them that we each have our own style. Your personality, skin tones, commitment to maintenance, and care at home are all to be considered.
How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? I believe that consulting is key. I would evaluate the guests face shape, hair texture, hair cut design, and styling to complete their individual look.
What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? My approach to retaining hair color clients is educating clients on how to care for their hair at home, when to return, and new ideas for their upcoming visits.
Describe your personal style: In my personal style I balance classics and some current trends. I like to look good, but be comfortable at the same time.
