When did you know you wanted to do hair? For as long as I can remember.

How long have you been doing color? 10 years.

How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? A lot of it depends on how flexible the clientis to change, and how much they really want the look they’re going for.

What inspires your creativity? Going to hair shows, classes and watching fashion shows.

What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? Go ahead and thank me. . .you’re going to love it!

How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? How much time the client has that day. . .how the cost works into their budget and what their maintenance level is. I also think about what good it’s going to do for their hair and their overall look.

What celebrity always has great hair & why? Heidi Klum. I love that she is always willing to change her look by keeping some fun and class to it.

What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? Being honest with them and letting them know if something is really NOT going to work for them. I also feel like I educate them on how to make the color last the longest so they get more gang for their buck.

Describe your personal style: Classy with a trendy twist.

How does your personal style influence your work? I love “pretty” so doing ugly hair is not going to work for me. I think you can be trendy with still keeping it together and not over the top.
