How long have you been doing color? Over 2 years.
How would you describe your approach to doing hair color? A thorough consultation is key to giving each client exactly what they want. I also like asking what colors they normally wear so I can give them a color service that will accentuate their skin tone.
What inspires your creativity? I’m inspired by the training I received as a stylist at LeBliss, and the Redken classes we have had with well-known Redken artists.
What advice would you give to someone considering coloring their hair for the first time? Come in for a thorough consultation so both the stylist and client can be on the same page. The client should feel comfortable and trusting with their stylist.
How do you customize a hair color service for each and every client? Asking questions about their maintenance, likes and dislikes, just getting to know what they really want.
What celebrity always has great hair & why? I think every well-known celebrity has great hair, but also their own personal style. As a stylist, I think it’s great to be open minded to different styles.
What’s your approach to retaining hair color clients? Educating them on the up-keep and maintenance of their color at home; providing them with products they can purchase to keep their color looking refreshed and vibrant until their next color service.
Describe your personal style: I don’t have a set style. I try all the latest fashion trends!
How does your personal style influence your work? It influences my work because I’m open to every clients style and can provide them with anything from a classic bob to an edgy asymmetrical cut.
